HBCD, the full name is Hexabromocyclododecane [CAS No.:3194-55-6].


It is an additive flame retardant used in a wide range of polymers as well as PP fibres, PS resin, textiles, adhesives and coatings. It is particularly recommended for styrene based systems such as EPS, XPS, and HIPS.
