Iranian Golden Raisins
Iranian Golden Raisins are derived from grapes under the scientific name of Vitis Venerate variety. The grapes are sun-dried in order to convert into raisin then bleached in order to maintain their golden color. Each 4 kilograms of grapes produces 1 Kilogram of golden raisins. Arat Co. collects choosiest raw material from its approved growers and suppliers. In Arat’s factory the sultanas are processed passing below stages:
Double Washing
Cap-stemming
Sieving, passing through series of blowers and vacuums
Laser Sorting
Triple Static handpicking on Stainless Steel tables
Metal Detecting
All the way through this process, Arat’s QC team has an accurate supervision on the production process and carried out various tests on the product on different stages of production. Golden Raisins is coated with appropriate vegetable oil in order to maintain the shelf life of the product and ensuring “free flowing” of the goods.
Availability
Golden raisins is available all through the year. In some years the rarity was experienced in the month of August and September.
Harvesting Time
Golden seedless raisins is usually harvested at the end of September each year.
The color of the Golden Raisins is rather lighter than Sultanas and Thompson Seedless Raisins.
