Malopolska Center for Export Development and Promotion
In September, within MARR structure, the Malopolska Center for Export Development and Promotion was established.
Start-up activities:
• Forming of a database containing information about Malopolska export companies and those with export potential;
• Appropriate choice of the main activities directions (geographical) and developing of the existing databases containing necessary information, cooperation with embassies and foreign trade missions, support from the Ministry if Economy, Labour and Social Policy, Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency.
Advanced activities:
• Region-oriented specialists ought to hired – creation of a comprehensive database on local tax laws, tariffs, culture, traditions, regional habits and customs;
• Setting-up of an Exporters Club. Membership in the Club assures complimentary services including partners searching, basic market information, discounts for participation in exhibitions and trade fairs, support in preparation of promotional materials, outsourced researches (fully-paid), etc;
• Creating of a fully-interactive website;
• Participation in domestic and foreign economic missions, trade fairs, exhibitions, research trips. Creating of a department specialized in organizing of such events (fully-paid service);
• Creating of a translation bureau – good public image of MARR is essential to attract additional funding and would guarantee reliable services.
