Small wind turbine / generator
Small wind turbine MW-200
For a wind turbine investment to be a success, you need to consider three important factors: -
Start-up wind speeds: - though you may think you have a windy site, if you don't invest in a system with a low threshold start-up wind speed, you may be disappointed with the amount of power you are able to generate and its reliability.
Initial cost: - wind power is characterized by a significant capital outlay, which is recouped by free or low cost electricity generation once the system is up and running. The higher your initial outlay, the longer you will need to be generating electricity to reach break even.
Maintenance expenditure: - clearly once you have installed your system you will want as trouble free experience as possible.
Our turbines are expertly designed with a focus on these three vital factors. Our turbines are small, light weight and designed to capture the wind's energy as efficiently as possible to give low start-up windspeed factors. The design is simple yet robust facilitating highly competitive capital costs combined with low maintenance expenditures.
Whilst we have a range of highly economic turbines suitable for most situations, we are delighted to work together with customers to develop bespoke solutions where appropriate.
