Strand Woven Bamboo Flooring

In 2003, we developed a new kind of bamboo flooring, which is strand woven bamboo flooring, which is a really hard and stable flooring.

We cut down the bamboo trees, then split them into lamellas, and boil, dry them. After drying them, we break all the lamellas with a heavy hammer ( a small machine ) then we put all those broken lamellas into a mold with the size of 1950 x 148 x 103mm and press it with glue. After 3 hours, we will get the woven block, then we re sawn the block into flooring size which is 1950 x 98 x 16mm. The last step is to do the putty, sanding and finishing.

Strand woven bamboo flooring has very unique design and the density is much higher than regular flooring, it is 1.60kg / m³, so it is really strong and it is not so easy to be bending or cupping.
