Angular when new, this grit rapidly rounds off in use and is paticularly suited to removing sand of casting and scaling oxide.The cast steel grit divided into three types, having been different in hardness. They are GP cast steel grit GL cast steel grit GH cast steel grit. Althouth GL harder than GP steel grit, GL also loses its sharp edges during shotblasting and is particularly suited to descaling and surfsce preparation applications.GH always remains angular in its operating mix.These abrasive are particularly effective in surface treatment processes and produce a uniform, etched finish.GH angular grit should only be used in wheel machines where working requirements take precedence over cost price considerations.
