| | Customers | Village Coordinator of each listed village collects the artifacts, which the Artisan wants to sale to an international buyer. He brings the Artifacts for Sale to our Head Office in Kaloi, Tehsil Diplo, District Tharparker when our Photographer will snap its picture. Upon collecting 30 pictures, the photographs are converted into digital shape and put to the E-List of the potential buyers. Once a price is offered and accepted for a particular piece it takes Sold Tag. First Offer of price is considered mostly on priority. The Artisan is duly informed about the price that is offered by the international buyer and if she agrees to that price, the possession of said artifact is taken over by our office, which then makes a plan to send the same through ordinary Air Parcel or DHL. These items are sent as Gifts and the money sent as prize to the artisan. We do also sent a small two paragraphed biography of each artisan upon specific request and service fees of USD 5 per artisan.

The dry desert region of Tharparker in Pakistan has learnt how to add color to its surroundings. Amidst perpetual droughts and scorching temperatures, this region claims a rich heritage of indigenous textile art. Female artisans carry on the ancient tradition of hand-embroidered quilts and textiles, all while meeting their customary duties as mother and wife. European travelers braved the waters of the Arabian Sea to search and uncover the riches of the South Asia. Many such travelers observed that the region of Thar desert, close to Kutch of India was the finest and most abundant source of folk embroidery in the world. The beauty of Tharparker's embroidery has been inspired by an ancient South Asian tradition of dowry. Meghwar women in the Thar region start early in life to create and collect embroidered masterpieces for their own marriage. |
